Can I stay until a Thursday travel connection?
Guests with Thursday travel connections may request a complimentary departure-night extension, subject to availability. Include the request when you tell us your travel plans; the extension needs to be confirmed.
How do I choose between a cabin boat and an open boat?
Choose the layout that suits your fishing. A cabin boat offers a sheltered cabin and comfort; an open boat offers an open working deck and easy access around the boat. Both Fishing Week choices share the same services and facilities.
Can I request a specific apartment and boat?
Yes. Tell us your preferences when you request your week. We check the accommodation and boat together before confirming your booking.
Is the fishing guided?
Fishing Weeks are designed for experienced anglers fishing independently. Local fishing knowledge and practical advice are included. Tell us about your crew’s sea-fishing experience when you enquire.
Are the sauna and fish smoking facility included?
Yes. The sauna with a fjord view and the fish smoking facility are part of every Fishing Week, alongside the catch-handling facilities and drying room for fishing suits.
Do I need to bring my own fishing equipment?
Bring your own equipment or rent only what you need. Rods, mechanical reels, electric reels, batteries, fishing suits and other fishing equipment can be requested separately. Include the items, quantities and suit sizes you need.
What happens after I request a Fishing Week?
We check your preferred dates and the accommodation and boat combination, discuss your plans and confirm the details with you. Sending a request does not confirm a booking.
Can I include transport requirements?
Yes. Tell us your planned connections and what help you need. Transport or transfer arrangements must be confirmed with your offer.
